Go Bush!
President Bush rocks for these statements:
"I believe that life is valuable, even when it is unwanted, even when it is physically imperfect. I believe our society has a responsibility to defend the vulnerable and the weak. And I believe our nation should set a goal: that unborn children should be welcomed in life and protected in law. This is the ideal: a generous society that values every life. I know there are many steps on this road. A democracy is ruled by consensus, not by edict. Laws are changed as minds are persuaded."
"I will lead our nation toward a culture that values life -- the life of the elderly and the sick, the life of the young, and the life of the unborn."
Meanwhile, John Kerry supports partial-birth abortion. I really pray he doesn't get elected.
Monday Madness.
1. What's "it" all about, anyway? It's all about Jesus.
2. What radical political ideas do you have, if any? Nothing radical. I don't think I have any set political ideas. But I do have Christian & family values that would influence the way I vote.
3. Do you believe that you 'fit' the profile of your astrological star sign? Not a chance. Aries' are supposed to be active and sporty. I'm not. :o) Besides, that's all a load of nonsense.
4. Will blogging survive 2005 or is it a fad? It will definitely survive. I'm going to keep doing it, anyway!
5. Do you Ebay? If so, what and how often? Is it a full-time job, part-time hobby, or just to clear the junk from your house? I Ebay when I need something that you can't really buy from the shops, like a movie from overseas, or a gorgeous teddy bear or something.
6. True or False: When I vote, I am all for one party. Well, it depends who's doing a good job. But the
Family First Party has just been launched, so I'm going to vote for them, for sure!
7. Meat or veggie sauce on your spaghetti? Meat all the way.
8. Would you ever be on a TV Reality Show? I don't think so. I'd consider it, but I don't think it'd be beneficial, apart from the money side of it.
9. What is one thing (or place) that you would like to do (or see) that you have not yet done (or seen?) I'd love to go to Ireland, Holland or Finland.
10. Do you answer memes honestly? I try my best. :o)
How to overcome exhaustion.
This is how I did it today:
Fill a mug with milk.
Microwave until hot.
Put in one teaspoon of coffee, one teaspoon of sugar, and two teaspoons of Milo. Stir.
Drink.
Yummo. Now I'm able to think about things other than sleep.
Speaking of Milo, I think the illustration on this page is rather disturbing. What are they teaching children these days? And why is the boy pulling the cow's tail? It looks like he's using it as a lever to squeeze the milk out. Now I'm no farmer, but I'm pretty sure that's not how it's done.
Speaking of Milo again, I just designed a T-Shirt on the Milo website, and YES. It rocks. I'll post the link here when they put it up in the gallery (it takes a while, they have to screen every submission, in case anyone puts naughty things on there). Not to blow my own horn or anything, but mine's the best. :o)
Blowing your own horn... why is that bad? Blowing someone else's horn would be bad, you'd get their germs. I'd rather play my own instrument, thank you very much!
A message from the past.
I just sent an email to my future self, through www.futureme.org. I'll receive the email on the 4th of August 2005. It made me sad to think that by then, I'll be a different person. Who I am now will be gone. It's hard to comprehend something like that.
Anyway, lunch time soon! I'm happy. I have some lovely pasta to munch on. All morning, I've been craving salt & vinegar biscuits. I have an empty packet sitting in my bin, and it's taunting me. My mouth waters whenever I think about it. There are three things in the world that make my mouth water (literally) when I think of them... salt & vinegar biscuits, sour lollies, and onion with French salad dressing. Oh my goodness.
Five minutes until lunch time. Unfortunately, I don't have any mouth-watering food like that. One day I'm going to go crazy - get everything on my list, and just veg out in front of the TV. Maybe I'll do that when I'm living alone. That's kind of something you don't want others to witness. :o)
Two minutes! Pasta, here I come! Why I'm constantly talking about food is beyond me. Perhaps I'm hungry. Perhaps.
One minute! I also can't wait to play Puzzle Blaster or Spiderman 2 - Web of Words. Yay! :o) Games make me smile.
Oooh, it's 12:00. Bye!
